I guess Chevron gave in to the pressure. Went to 3 Chevron stations Friday: Daphne, Rangeline Rd. NW of I-65 (by Wal Mart), and W. Rangeline Rd. @ Laurendean R.d. The placard on the pumps at all three stations, “this gasoline contains up to 10% ethanol”.

Soldiers Chevron in Daphne on 98 has ethanol free gas

The chevron at the intersection of I-10 and I-59 to the beach is also a good place to fill up, they have to compete with the cheap Racetrack ethanol station across the street so the prices are pretty good.

Y'all might consider using a site like this one:
http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=AL

and help spread the word about EtOH free gas and keep the list up to date. There are none listed for down this way, yet.

EDIT: this one has a Google Map mashup:
http://www.buyrealgas.com/Alabama.html

:book:

Thanks,

Went by the Soldier Chevron and it looked like all their pumps has the ethanol sticker on them. I believe all Chevrons are E10 now, correct.

Need an east side source for pure gas.
