I haven't fished since our June tourney and had to work the day of our July tournament
but figured "Well there is a spot right on the way to the office."
So I pulled off DIP under the bridge, casted and waited for the sun to come up...

The air was comfortable with only a light NW breeze that made the water calm and it was fairly clear.
I could see LOTS of bait movement (mullet, finger mullet, peanut menhaden, silversides and bay anvhovies) but no fish bustin so I chunked a 1/4 ounce jighead with a 3"Gulp shrimp (New Penny).
Nothing more than a nibble or two at the first two stops, and was about to leave spot #3 when BAM!
A fat lil headshaking, drag pulling, top wallowing 15" speck (I thought "Well THERE'S my PP.)

Next cast to the same spot, BAM!
A fiesty lil flounder that was headshaking and didn't want his picture taken

(I thought "Well THERE'S my dinner.")

That was right at 6 o'clock...
I hung around for another 45 minutes without another hookup, but figured "Well that's OK I can go to work now."
Sure am glad I've got an inside sit down job, cuz it looks like it's gonna be a HOT one today
Thank You Lord!
